Ronnie the Skeleton is one of the most recurring characters on The Irate Gamer show played by Chris Bores.

Background[]

Ronnie is a talking skeleton, he is chatty and, unlike most Irate Gamer characters, he never uses any profanity.

Ronnie has an older French brother named Dirk. Dirk often calls him "Ronald". Dirk is always taking things from Ronnie like his lover Bonny. Ronnie and Dirk have a sibling rivalry similar to Heat Miser and Snow Miser, in that only their mother can control them.

Ronnie has worked in the gaming community for many years, with his first role being skeleton #2 in Legend of Zelda, he also auditioned for roles in Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Monster Party and Mc Evil, but did not make the final cut. Ronnie claims that there are few acting roles out there for skeletons in video games.

In the review for the He-Man games for Atari and Intellivision, he is attacked by Chris (who had summoned the power of Inferno) after Chris mistook Ronnie for Skeletor, the main antagonist of the He-Man series.

In the Irate the 80s episodes Monster Cereals that covers the five General Mills monster cereals (Count Chocula, Frankenberry, Boo-Berry, Fruite Brute and Yummy Mummy), Ronnie creates his own cereal after learning there are no skeleton-themed cereals called "Skelerons", which are made 100% out of materials from Ronnie's own ribcage.

Trivia[]

  • Ronnie sings in a Christmas video together with his family, in spite of the fact he's Jewish.
  • He may be a parody of C-3PO of Star Wars.
